Tours start at the Storytellers Museum, and end at the Hideaway Farm.

Storytellers: You will see film footage about the history of the property and its connection to Johnny Cash, the iconic One-Piece-At-A-Time Cadillac, and a rare collection of behind-the-scenes photos of Country Stars from the 50s – 90s.

Hideaway: You will step onto Johnny Cash’s farm that Johnny called the “Center of My Universe”.

Tour typically takes 1.5-2 hours.

Private Tours

The tour is a private booking and includes the Storytellers Museum and the Hideaway Farm. Our team will host your visit for a very personalized experience, while you delve into the private side of Johnny Cash at the place he called the “Center of My Universe.” You will see the One-Piece-At-A-Time Cadillac, along with a rare collection of behind-the-scenes photos of Country Stars from the 50s – 90s.

  • Monday – Friday based on booked reservations

  • Admission: $40 per person, with a minimum of 2 paying guests

  • Kids 12 and under: free

  • Parking is Free

Directions From Hwy 840/ TN-100w

  • Take Exit 7 onto TN-100 W/Fairview Blvd W

  • After 6.1 miles, turn right onto TN-46 N

  • After 1.1 miles, turn left onto Church Rd.

  • After 1 mile, cross the railroad tracks and continue straight

  • Church Rd turns slightly left (crossing railroad tracks) and becomes Old Highway 46

  • Storytellers Hideaway will be on your left.

  • Continue straight until you arrive at the museum on your right..

Directions From interstate 40

  • Take exit 172 for TN-46 toward Centerville/Dickson

  • Turn left onto TN-46 S

  • After 5.0 miles, turn right onto Church Rd

  • After 1 mile, cross the railroad tracks and continue straight

  • Church Rd turns slightly left (crossing railroad tracks) and becomes Old Highway 46

  • The Museum will be on your right.
    (Afterward go0.5 miles Storytellers Hideaway farm will be on your right.)
