Visitors first tour the Storytellers Museum; this is a loving restoration of a building that Johnny Cash once owned. He had created a little stage here, and held small intimate concerts for the community – including the “Saturday Night In Hickman County” guitar pulls.

Visitors will be able to experience a live mini concert from the renovated stage, and view rare video footage about Johnny Cash at a significant historical event that happened here, along with the history of this property. We have an extensive collection of Johnny Cash photos and memorabilia, including the famous One-Piece- At-A-Time car, created from Johnny’s own song of the same name

The second location is the Hideaway Farm, about a mile from the Museum. Johnny Cash owned the farm for 33 years, and called it the center of his universe.

Visitors will be able to visit the Farmhouse and see intimate family photographs and a variety of displayed artifacts.

Visits typically take at least 1.5 - 2 hours. Visits start with a scheduled program live followed by self-guided tour.

Doors Open 10:30am (please arrive 15min before show time.)
